We are Out of Maps!
In the past few years, our printed map has been so popular we have disbursed nearly 150,000 copies!  This is due in part to the wonderful exposure we had, and continue to receive from Huell Howser and his California Road Trip series (Thank you Huell!).  We also saw a high demand for our maps in the California Visitors Centers. Also a big thank you also to our local chambers and the SLO VCB for passing our maps along to visitors. In 2008, we launched an effort to sell advertising to print a new version of the map.  Sadly, due to the economy and so many folks cutting back, we were not able to sell enough advertising to finance the project.  We don’t have grant funding available this time to offset publishing costs.  Until the economy stabilizes, we will concentrate on our web efforts.
2011 Membership Drive
Tourist Season is just around the corner!  If you aren’t currently a member we hope you will consider joining us. For more information on joining click here.  If you are a current member we hope you will renew your membership.  We are confident Ag Adventures is a good value for your advertising dollars.  Past members should watch their mail for membership invoices.  Together we can be not only sustainable, but a vibrant asset to our community.

Are you interested in participating in a One Day Open Farm Event?
This event would be similar to an open gallery or an open garden tour. Visitors would pick up a booklet -- at producer and supporting member locations -- that profiles the participating farms and ranches, gives instructions on how to find them, and details each farm’s activities/offerings.  During specified hours on that day participating farms would be open for drop-in guests. This would particularly benefit those of you who are by appointment only. You could schedule tours, workshops or demonstrations as part of your open farm/ranch. You might want to provide music or snacks . . . it's up to you. If you are either interested in participating as a farm/ranch, or interested in helping to develop the overall project and explore funding possibilities, please contact Joy at 238-3799 or via e-mail.

Itineraries for Ag Tours
Are you interested in participating in an organized Ag Tour? We are considering developing regional and theme downloadable and printable itineraries (eg: North County, South County, Culinary, Farm Animal etc.) which visitors can download and print out from our website. If you are either interested in participating as a farm/ranch, or interested in helping to develop the overall project, please contact Joy at 238-3799 or via e-mail.

Individual Member Pages on our Ag Adventures Site
Are you using your individual member page? As part of your annual membership fee, both Destination-Producers and Supporting Members have their very own page, on which they can up-load up to four photos and add additional text to promote their business. You can use your page to announce a special event, new products, workshops, or the birth of a new baby alpaca or foal. If you are a lodging facility you might want to announce special weekday or weekend packages.  Up-date it as often as you wish to meet your changing seasons and promotions.

If you haven't been contacted yet with your user ID and password, or if you have questions please contact Joy Barlogio at 238-3799 or via e-mail.
